鳴川肇 AuthaGraph World Map 2009年
「あれ？ 南極がこんなところにある！」とねむきゅんが驚いたのは、鳴川肇さんが提唱している『オーサグラフ』と呼ばれる新しい世界地図。これまでの緯度経度を基準にした世界地図では、本来約4万kmあるはずの赤道も、すぼんでいるはずの北極や南極付近も、矩形で表現されるときは同じサイズになっていました。それに対してオーサグラフは地球を96分割して平面展開し、できる限り面積の誤差が起きないように作られたもので、より実際の面積比に近い地球が描かれています。
